Our Mission

Before lithography, an art lover had limited opportunities to see the great paintings of the world. If wealthy, they could travel to Europe, visit museums or the great houses to view original artworks. Advances in lithographic printing in the 19th century brought scores of great artworks within the grasp of those who could afford it.  Perhaps out of reach for the average person, the wealthier set could purchase framed lithographs or printed books with lithographic insets from local purveyors, publishers or bookbinders, or have them shipped from other countries.

In this tradition, Lithograf.com celebrates the ingenuity and painstaking artistic renditions of superb reproductions by making available the brilliance of the lithographers and artists involved in creating them.  Each image is carefully curated and enlarged using our own artistic sense, thereby creating a new version of the original work.  We focus on the specifics of each work to bring out what we think are essential, sometimes missed, creative touches, and genius insights of the artists and artisans who created the original work. At Lithograf.com, we see it as our sacred duty to preserve these thoughtful works of art that can evoke an experiential reflection of heaven.

We are excited not only to share our renditions of these works with you but also to make them available at a price that is within most budgets.  Each work is carefully produced, framed (if desired), packaged, and shipped directly to you.  We hope you enjoy these beautiful images as much as we do!

Who We Are

  • A man wearing sunglasses, a gray cap, and a blue quilted vest standing outdoors during daytime with trees and grass in the background. He is holding a paper cup with writing on it.

    Jerry Boak

Growing up on the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, Jerry was an avid watercolorist from an early age, first exhibiting and selling his work in his late teens. In Seattle, he continued painting and played music as part of the mod revival music scene. His interest in the arts took him to New York City, where he earned a BA and MFA at Columbia University. There he gained experience in the international art world, interior design, and business. He is a screenwriter, media producer and published writer. His introduction to the world of antiquities and decorative arts began as a child with his family’s passion for collecting and led to full immersion when he helped his siblings settle the estates of his grandparents and later his parents. It is this extraordinary family legacy of support for the classic arts that has led him to found lithograf.com.

  • A woman standing outside near a gray wall, wearing a beige knit sweater and a baseball cap, shielding her eyes from the sun with both hands behind her head.

    Grace Boak

Like her father, Grace has been an artist from an early age. She lends her creative eye and unique aesthetic to our mission as well as her social media and influencer skills to promote the company's art, offering a critical generational viewpoint to company strategy. She brings youth, vitality and a keen sense of style to our concept, ensuring the art never feels old. Yet she also appreciates the artistry and originality of the people whose works lithograf.com celebrates, continuing the family tradition of honoring the classic arts.
